Momotaro, 2026

Created in connection with Jessica Lang’s ballet Momotaro for Pacific Northwest Ballet School in 2026, this painting is part of Lang’s ongoing practice of creating an original artwork for each of her ballets.

 

Inspired by the Japanese folktale at the heart of the ballet, the painting takes the story’s iconic peach as its subject. Vibrant layers of orange, blue, green, and white capture the movement, energy, and playful spirit of the work.

 

This fine art print is offered in a limited edition of only 25, each individually numbered and signed by Jessica Lang.
